A 30-day wellness program for athletes who have experienced concussion or TBI – combining advanced biochemical testing, brain performance measurement, and targeted nutritional science.
Symptoms are late signals. Changes in brain biochemistry — plasmalogen levels, mitochondrial function, inflammatory markers — can persist even after you feel fine. Standard monitoring wasn’t built to capture them.
Return2Play gives you the data. Advanced biochemical testing, objective brain performance measurement, and targeted nutritional science — integrated into a 30-day program built from your own numbers, not someone else’s protocol.
We educate you on the underlying biochemical science — the internal systems that fuel your brain, your energy, and your performance. We give you the tools to measure what’s actually happening inside your own body. And we put you in a supported environment to apply that knowledge and do the hard work. You don’t just follow a protocol. You understand it — deeply enough to carry it for the rest of your athletic career and beyond.
A 30-day science-informed wellness experience — 10 days on-site, 20 days of guided momentum —
for athletes who want clarity beyond rest and guesswork.
Balance, coordination, grip strength, vision, HRV, spirometry — a complete functional baseline beyond symptom checklists.
BioMetrix™ BioScan measuring thousands of biomarkers — plasmalogens, inflammation, mitochondrial function, oxidative stress, and more.
Personalized supplementation protocol built from your own BioScan data — grounded in published research.
Sport-specific physiotherapy, chiropractic, craniosacral therapy, photobiomodulation, and PEMF support.
Regular reassessment to track objective changes in brain function, balance, strength, and cognitive performance
All services are wellness-focused and educational. The statements and information provided about this program have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

This program is designed to work alongside your medical care — here’s how it adds to what’s typically available.

Symptom checklist and basic neurological exam

Relies primarily on subjective symptom reporting

General nutrition guidance, basic supplements if any

Symptom monitoring and activity restrictions
Proactive wellness support—nutritional supplementation for cellular membranes and mitochondrial function, structured physical reconditioning, and comprehensive tracking

Standard physical therapy when symptoms allow

Standard imaging if ordered; limited visibility into microstructural changes
Optional advanced NeuroMRI™ with specialized sequences providing detailed white matter, connectivity, and perfusion data

Medical records managed by healthcare system

Subjective symptom logs
Objective wellness metrics tracked longitudinally—NeuroCatch scores, biomarker profiles, balance data, cognitive performance, strength measurements

Ad hoc advice; limited structured education or long‑term follow‑up resources
Engage™ ⓘ
educational platform and community providing ongoing access to concussion-related content, brain-health education, stress-management tools, and peer support long after the 30-day program
This is a wellness and assessment program, not medical treatment. Only your qualified healthcare provider can diagnose conditions, provide medical treatment, or clear you for return to activities.

Return2Play is built on a simple idea: you are the expert on your own body. Our job is to give you the science, the data, and the support to act on that expertise.
Your BioScan results shape your nutritional strategy. Your NeuroCatch and performance data shape your training progression. Every decision is backed by your own numbers, not a generic protocol.
An athlete who understands their own biochemistry, who can read their own data, and who knows exactly why their plan is built the way it is — that athlete is equipped for life.
"We're your Sherpa — guiding the way. But this climb is yours to conquer."
FAQ
Traditional protocols focus on symptom management and gradual activity progression. This program adds comprehensive functional assessment, biomarker analysis, and structured nutritional and physical wellness support — designed to complement, not replace, your medical care.
No. This is a wellness and assessment program that works alongside your medical care. Your physician retains full responsibility for all medical decisions, diagnosis, and treatment. We provide objective wellness data you can share with your healthcare team.
Your physician or nurse practitioner provides all medical clearance for return to activities. The program name refers to supporting your wellness journey during recovery—not providing medical clearance. We provide functional wellness data that may inform those medical decisions.
The on-site intensive (Days 1–10) is conducted at Lakeview Wellness Center in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. The 20-day momentum phase is flexible and can be completed remotely while returning to daily activities, work, or school.
Contact the team to discuss your situation, readiness, and available start dates. A pre-program consultation helps determine whether the program aligns with your needs and goals.

Advanced light-based technology that delivers targeted 1064 nm near-infrared light energy designed for deeper tissue penetration, allowing delivery of light to structures within and around the brain to support cellular energy production and circulation.
Why It Matters
Specialized pads that deliver pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) signals to support circulatory wellness and tissue oxygenation.
Why It Matters
KAATSU supports overall health and plays a key role in rehabilitation, athletic performance, and longevity. It provides an effective way to flush metabolic waste and maintain muscle mass, allowing people in all three areas to reach their goals with less strain on the body.
The Dr. Goodenowe Immorta™ platform visualizes your personal health and wellness data over time, allowing you to view trends, patterns, and changes in one centralized place.
Immorta stores your assessment outputs, lab-related data, and biochemical markers, and allows you to log self-reported wellness information. This is your personal dashboard — you own your data and can access it anytime. Review your BioScan data, view NeuroCatch results over time, and observe how different metrics change throughout your program and beyond.
Why it matters: Objective data can provide useful context alongside how you feel day to day. Immorta offers visibility into trends and patterns that may not always be obvious subjectively, helping you stay informed, engaged, and thoughtful as you navigate your program experience.
The Dr. Goodenowe Engage™ platform offers guided education, practical insights, and community connection to help you stay informed, supported, and engaged throughout your experience.
Engage is an educational platform and community where you can explore topics related to concussion education, brain-body wellness, nutrition, stress awareness, and return-to-activity considerations. Connect with other athletes on similar journeys, access curated educational content, and build confidence through shared learning and experience.
Why it matters: Progress is influenced by more than physical training alone. Education, perspective, and social connection all play an important role. Engage provides ongoing access to information and community support so you can continue learning, reflecting, and staying connected beyond the initial 30-day program.
NeuroRestore is a targeted nutritional formulation designed to support biochemical pathways involved in cellular energy metabolism and membrane-related processes. It is incorporated into the program as a wellness-focused nutritional option alongside education, measurement tools, and structured activity.
NeuroMRI uses advanced 3T MRI technology with specialized imaging sequences to provide detailed information about brain structure and connectivity patterns.
For athletes seeking deeper insight, NeuroMRI offers additional data that may help inform discussions with their licensed healthcare providers about brain structure, adaptation, and considerations related to training and activity planning.
What it is:
A high-resolution blood analysis that examines a broad panel of biochemical markers, including membrane-related markers, lipid profiles (including plasmalogens), and other biological indicators.
Why it matters:
Provides insight into patterns in biochemical data over time and can be used to support educational discussions and wellness-oriented nutrition decisions.
What it is: A 6-minute EEG-based scan that measures how fast and accurately your brain processes information — like an ECG for your brain. Regular scans are used to track progress.
Why it matters: Shows if your brain is truly ready, tracking reaction time, focus, and processing speed even when you “feel fine.”
